Vacation Bible School 2020-06-07T16:34:56+00:00
“NBRC’s Vacation Bible School program is a can’t miss opportunity! Having heard from friends how quickly the 180 spots fill up, I was sure to register my children right away, and they had a blast!” ~ Jen R.

Dear Friends of North Branch Reformed Church,

With great disappointment, we write notifying you of the cancellation of Vacation Bible School 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. At the time of this decision, Governor Murphy has indicated that some summer camp programs may run, but we are still awaiting guidelines from the Department of Health and/or Children and Families. Assuming these guidelines will be similar to what has already been enacted for child care centers related to social distancing, wearing of masks, and required sanitization procedures, we cannot envision, at this time, the ability to properly ensure the safety of your children and all of our volunteers who we rely on to make the program run.

We do not take this decision lightly nor do we want to operate in a spirit of fear. We believe our God is greater than anything that we might face in this world. However, we believe that God is leading us and that this is the wisest decision for all involved as we seek to be Jesus’ witnesses in this world. If you have submitted payment for VBS this year, we have not deposited any of those checks yet. It is our intention to shred them all unless you notify us by June 15 that you would like them returned to you in the mail.

We pray that you and your families are well, and, if there is any way that our church can be of support to you during this time, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We look forward to seeing you all for our best VBS ever in 2021!

Stay Safe and we hope to see you soon,
Adriane and Nicole

Non-Volunteer Registration priority is given to church members and students in the preschool before we open it to the general public.

Non-volunteer registration forms will be made available at a later date.

The coordinators for VBS are Adriane Domareckyj and Nicole Kotrba.
