Easter Outreach’s mission is to help serve our neighbors both locally and globally during the Easter season.
We hope to make connections with local families by providing and delivering Easter meals. Globally, we are able to serve through the Water Is Basic organization that assists with water solutions for people living in South Sudan. This is NBRCs fourth year with serving through Easter Outreach and have revamped our program to use more local sources and more importantly add the North Branch touch!
First, we would like to thank everyone for past years donations and time in making Easter Outreach possible. Easter Outreach is NBRC’s march mission and this year our goal is to raise $3000. This would assist in providing 125 meals locally as well as sending funds to cover 100% of the cost to repair a well in South Sudan.
Volunteers are in need!
Sunday, April 5th after the 8:30am service, stop by fellowship hall as we will need help taping boxes that will be used to package the meals. After the 10am service we will be packing up the boxes with nonperishables in our assembly line.
The morning (time TBD) of Saturday, April 11 will be the delivery date for the local meals, please sign up on the blue connection card if you are able to deliver a meal locally.
ASAP! Have empty boxes from using your Amazon Smiles account?
Easter Outreach is looking for boxes size approximately 14x14x14 to use for this year’s program. The depth of 14inches is the most important part for holding a chicken or ham for our families. Collapsed box donations can be made at the designated location in fellowship hall.
