Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2008 — Preschool reopens. Monday, Jan. 21 — Martin Luther King Day. Preschool closed. Saturday, Feb. 2 — Fathers’ Saturday. Saturday, Feb. 9 — Fathers’ Saturday (Snow Date). Friday, Feb. 15 — Presidents’ Day vacation. Monday, Feb. 18 — Preschool closed. Friday, March 21 — Easter Vacation begins. Preschool closed. Monday, March 31 — Preschool reopens. Thursday, May 22 –Closing Program and last day of preschool for T/Th and AM K+ classes. Friday, May 23 –Closing Program and last day of preschool for M/W/F 5 Day and PM K+ classes. Monday, May 26 — Memorial Day. Preschool closed. Tuesday, May 27 — Summer Experience (Optional). |
Weather ClosingsIf poor weather necessitates the closing of preschool, you will be called by one of the classroom teachers. The morning sessions will be notified by 8:30 a.m. and the afternoon sessions by 12:00 noon. If in doubt, Call (908) 725-2326 — A message will also be left on the preschool telephone. When weather conditions dictate a delayed opening, the morning session will be held from 10:30 - 12:15. The afternoon session will be held from 1:15 - 3:00. Parents will be called by the preschool teachers when a delayed opening is necessary and a message will be left on the preschool telephone after 7:30 a.m. Should weather conditions deteriorate during a preschool session, we urge parents to pick up their children early. Should the preschool deem it necessary to close a session prior to the normal dismissal time, we will try to contact parents to relay this information. If parents cannot be reached, the emergency contacts listed on each child’s registration form will be called. In no case will a child be left unattended. Parents are urged to use their own good judgment in deciding whether to bring their children to school in poor weather.
